Phil Fayne II

Zastal BC Zielona Gora (OBL) signed 28-year-old USA-Belizean 206cm power forward Phil Fayne II (college: Illinois State) for the upcoming season. He will be playing alongside fellow American player Andrzej Mazurczak. Fayne spent the last two years at FC Porto in the Portuguese Liga Betclic, where he averaged 10.5ppg, 5.5rpg, and 1.3apg in 28 games last season. He contributed to their Supercup victory and helped them reach the league final. Additionally, he played 10 games in the FIBA Europe Cup, posting 13.4ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.3apg, 1.0spg, and 1.0bpg.
Fayne is a very experienced player, thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Fayne has played professionally in Argentina (Libertad), Finland (Kataja), Germany (46ers), Italy (Trieste) and Poland (Wilki Morskie).
He received the Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Player of the Year award and the Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Import Player of the Year award in 2024.
He graduated from Illinois State in 2019 and it'll be his seventh season in pro basketball. Fayne played also for Western Nebraska Community College for one year.
