ECL Round 4: Storm keeps a leadership position - Oct 16, 2017

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Storm as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Storm defeated 4th ranked Warriors at home 64-57. Storm have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Warriors at the other side dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. Warriors will play next round against Lions trying to get back on the winning streak. Storm will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Renegades on the road.
Sixth ranked Lions (3-3) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 7th ranked Renegades (1-3) 55-53 on Saturday evening. Lions moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Hornets. Renegades lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with three games lost. Lions will play against Warriors (#6) in the next round. Renegades will play against Falcons to get more than just one victory in their record.
ECL top team - Panthers (5-2) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Lions (3-3) 71-64. Despite that victory Panthers went down to second position due to points difference. Loser Lions dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Hornets. Panthers will meet at home Hornets (#4) in the next round. Lions will play against Warriors and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Marksmen will play against Falcons and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 4 Hornets won against Warriors on the opponent's court 77-73.

Lions - Renegades 55-53

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 4th ranked Warriors (3-4) were defeated at home by fifth ranked Hornets (3-3) 77-73. Hornets moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Lions. Warriors at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Hornets' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Panthers and it may be the game of the week. Warriors will play against Lions (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
