ECL Round 5: Panthers defeat Hornets in the game between Top 4 teams - Oct 25, 2017

ECL is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 5 rounds left.

An interesting game for Panthers (6-2) which hosted in 4th placed Hornets (4-4). Second ranked Panthers managed to get a 11-point victory 61-50. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hornets. Panthers maintains second place with 6-2 record having just one point less than leader Storm. Hornets at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Panthers are again looking forward to face Hornets (#5) in the next round. Hornets will play against Renegades and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
ECL top team - Storm (6-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Renegades (1-4) 49-27. Storm have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record. Renegades lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with four games lost. Storm will play against Falcons (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Renegades will play against Hornets (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Marksmen is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to third ranked Falcons (5-1) 83-47 on Saturday evening. Falcons have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place with 5-1 record behind leader Storm. Loser Marksmen still closes the standings with nine games lost. Falcons will meet at home league's leader Storm in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Marksmen will have a break next round.

Warriors lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. Lions will have a break next round. Warriors will play against Falcons (#3) and hope to win that game.

Marksmen - Falcons 47-83

Bottom-ranked Marksmen is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to third ranked Falcons (5-1) 83-47 on Saturday evening.
