ECL Round 7: Storm keeps a leadership position - Nov 7, 2017

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Storm as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Storm defeated 5th ranked Lions at home 71-57. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Lions at the other side keep the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Warriors. Lions will play next round against Marksmen trying to get back on the winning streak. Storm will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Panthers (8-3) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Storm (8-2) 74-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Panthers. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Storm keeps a position of league leader. Panthers at the other side dropped to the second place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Hornets maintains fourth place with 6-5 record. Marksmen at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Hornets' next round opponent will be higher ranked Falcons (#3) and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Marksmen will play against Lions (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
