BBA Winter League Double Header

Prior to the start of the Bermuda Basketball Association's Winter league Double Header inside the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium, players, officials and spectators observed a moment of silence for NBA Superstar Kobe Bryant. Game 1 saw the Hamilton City Twisters edge the Bermuda College Flyboys 57 - 56. The Hamilton City Twisters were led by Dion Easton who scored 18 points, he grabbed 8 rebounds, to go along with 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot, while the Bermuda College Flyboys got a double-double from Gershon Kurt who had 20 points and 21 rebounds, Kurt also had 3 assists, 5 steals and 4 blocked shots.
In Game 2, the Pembroke Skyforce sponsored by Sea Venture defeat the Southampton Thundercats by a score 63 - 37. Jason Lowe (193-F/G-85) would lead the Pembroke Skyforce to victory with 19 points, while Sheldon Bahadosingh scored 6 points for the Southampton Thundercats.
