Twisters and Bermuda College celebrate latest wins in BBA Winter League

Basketball fans were treated to a total of 208 points inside the Bermuda College Gymnasium as the Bermuda Basketball Association Winter League season resumed. Game 1 saw the Pembroke Twisters defeat the Warwick Rimrockers 61 - 44. Dion Easton had a double-double on the way to leading the Pembroke Twisters who were down by 6 going into the final period to victory. Easton scored 16 points, 12 rebounds, 1 steal 2 block shots and 2 assists. Ronald Bushner (G) scored 15 points 8 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 assist for the Warwick Rimrockers.
Game 2 saw Bermuda College defeat St. George's Hoopstars 57 - 46, Joel Smith scored 27 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 5 assists for the Bermuda College, while Adam Correia (90) scored 10 points and had 4 rebounds for the St. George's Hoopstars.
