Black Mambas and the Franchise celebrate latest victories

The Bermuda Basketball Association's Island Basketball League continued inside the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium, with a double-header that produced 205 points in the two matches.
In the opener, the Splash Brothers fell to the Black Mambas 48 - 43. Kevin Stephens led the Black Mambas with 12 points, while Jahmair Trott led the team with 7 rebounds. Jason Lowe (193-F/G-1985) led the Splash Brothers with a game-high 13 points, and John Lee led the team with 4 rebounds.
In the nightcap, the Franchise defeated The Answer 58 - 56. Akil Smith (1989) led the Franchise with a game-high 18 points and 6 rebounds, while Jahzion Lugo scored 17 points for The Answer, with Jose Tapia (200-F-1984), and Zavante Grant both having 4 rebounds.
