The Reapers were crowned the Bermuda Basketball Association's Island Basketball Champions inside the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium. Taking on the Black Mambas in the final, the Reapers jumped out to an early lead and controlled the match claiming a 59 - 43 win. Jorel Smith (160-G), and Keishun Swan (155-F) both scored 15 points each to lead the Reapers, while Mykal Glasgow (193-G/F) added 13 points, with Gershon Kurt the only other player in double figures scoring 10 points, he would also lead the team in rebounds with 6. Omar Wolfe would lead the Black mambas with 12 points, while Jaren Hayley, Calvert Lee, and Kevin Stephens all added 9 points each, Stephens, and Wolfe both grabbed 4 rebounds each. |
