final game Univalle 79-76. Champion team' s starting five has
been Christian Pantoja, Mauricio Asbún, Limbert Saavedra, Javier
MartÃnez, VÃctor Hugo CossÃo and Omar Abud.
Real
won 2001 title
Real Santa Cruz won for another time the Bolivian League, beating in
Final Game Nonis 83- 69. After losing first quarter, point guard
of S.Cruz Lozada won the duel vs. Lema, Diego Teran emerged, helped by
Alejandro Lopez, and the Real won the title. In Nonis, best losing
efforts were from Heriberto Lema, and José Manuel Quiroz. The most
disappointing team of this edition has been La Salle, de Cochabamba,
which lost 100-64 vs.city contenders of Univalle, the team who qualified
with Santa Cruz for the next S.American Cup for Clubs.
