Calero Potosi and CAN Oruro won semifinal openers beating their opponents last night. Calero Potosi overcame Universidad San Simon 114-84 as they posted a 26-11 surge in the start. Calero managed also to post a comfortable 32-27 and 34-21 rallies in the second half.
CAN Oruro meanwhile beat Pichincha Potosi 98-86. The latter won the second period 28-20, but CAN Oruro dominated the rest of the game.

MURILO BECKER Pichincha de Potosi (Libobasquet) inked experienced 35-year old Brazilian ex-international power forward Murilo Becker (211-83). He played most recently at Vitoria in Brazilian NBB league. In 28 games he averaged 7.6ppg and 5.1rpg last season. Among other achievements Becker played in the final of Liga Americas in 2016. Defending champion Calero de Potosi (Libobasquet) landed 26-year old American forward Willie Green (198-91kg-91, college: Stetson). He played most recently at ES Sahel in Tunisian Division I.
