Venezuelan Gregory Curvelo (190-G-90) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Rubair and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 27-year old guard had a double-double of 24 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat Penarol (1-1) 87-80. It allowed Rubair to jump to the first place in the Bolivian Libobasque. Rubair is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Curvelo had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Rubair and it was his first game, where he immediately became new team's leader. Curvelo has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (7th best: 24.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 13.0rpg), assists (7th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 6.0spg and 76.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Dariel Maza of AND1 La Paz. Maza impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 16 rebounds. Of course he led AND1 La Paz to another comfortable win 82-66 over Univ. Santa Cruz (0-2) being unquestionably team leader. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Maza is one of the most experienced players at AND1 La Paz and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.0ppg (#6). He also registered 16.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another AND1 La Paz's star - Cuban Daniel Nembhard (204-F/C-91). Nembhard scored 26 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was another key player of AND1 La Paz, helping his team with a 82-66 easy win against #2 ranked Univ. Santa Cruz in a game of the week. AND1 La Paz has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Nembhard also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Nembhard as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Milos Petkovic (204-F/C-91) of Penarol - 26 points and 14 rebounds
5. Brandon Antezana) of Penarol - 27 points and 6 rebounds
6. Michael Flores (192-G-85) of La Salle Tarija - 32 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Reimer Machado (185-G-89) of Rubair - 26 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Trevante Drye (199-F-93) of Pichincha - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Carlos Romero (190-G/F-84) of Pichincha - 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Scott Sill (206-F-92) of La Salle Tarija - 15 points and 12 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
