TIRRELL BROWN

American Forward Tirrell Brown (198-F-93) had a great game in the last round for Amistad, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 25-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 16 rebounds, while his team outclassed CAN Oruro (#2, 5-2) with 31-point margin 108-77. Amistad is placed at 3rd position in their group in Bolivian Libobasquet. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Amistad will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Brown had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Amistad's top player in his first season with the team. Tirrell Brown averages this season 19.4ppg and 8.6rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 27-year old Cuban Daniel Nembhard (204-F/C-91) of AND1 La Paz. Nembhard had a very good evening with a double-double of 34 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as AND1 La Paz lost that game 84-97 to slightly higher-ranked Carl A-Z (#4, 4-3). AND1 La Paz managed to keep the same 6th spot in Group A. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory AND1 La Paz managed to get this year. Nembhard is a newcomer at AND1 La Paz, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 28.9ppg (#3). He also registered 11.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Spanish forward Duane James (196-F-83) of Univ. Santa Cruz (#4). James scored 29 points and grabbed seventeen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Univ. Santa Cruz, leading his team to a 90-89 win against slightly lower-ranked Penarol (#5, 2-6). The chances of Univ. Santa Cruz not to end season at such low position in Group B, however are less than slim as they have already lost 6 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, James could try to bring Univ. Santa Cruz's a little bit higher in the standings. James has a very solid season. In 8 games in Bolivia he scored 17.3ppg. He also has 7.9rpg and FGP: 66.7%. James attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
