AGUSTIN AMBROSINO

Argentinian Agustin Ambrosino (203-PF-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best CAN Oruro and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 28-year old power forward had the game-high 39 points adding nine rebounds for CAN Oruro in his team's victory, helping them to crush Carl A-Z (#4, 4-4) with 20-point margin 103-83. CAN Oruro maintains the 2nd position in their group in Bolivian Libobasquet. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. CAN Oruro will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. In the team's last game Ambrosino had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be CAN Oruro's top player in his first season with the team. Brigham Young University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Ambrosino is in league's top in points (8th best: 24.0ppg), rebounds (5th best: 10.0rpg) and averages solid 54.0% FGP and 45.2% from behind 3-point line. Worth to mention Ambrosino played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old former international guard Fernando Cadario (184-G-89) of second-ranked Pichincha. Cadario impressed basketball fans with 36 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led Pichincha to another comfortable win 101-82 over Rubair (5-5) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Pichincha consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team's 5-5 record is not bad at all. Cadario is one of the most experienced players at Pichincha and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Venezuelan Gregory Curvelo (190-G-90) of Rubair (#3). Curvelo showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, sixteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. Despite Curvelo's great performance Rubair lost 82-101 to #2 ranked Pichincha. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Rubair needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in Group B. Their record is 5 victories and 5 lost games. Curvelo has a great season in Bolivia. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.4ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 12.0rpg (2nd best). He also has 2.9spg and FGP: 69.8%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Louis Munks (190-G-90) of Calero - 33 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Trevante Drye (199-F-93) of Pichincha - 25 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists
6. Milos Petkovic (204-F/C-91) of Penarol - 27 points and 12 rebounds
7. Daniel Nembhard (204-F/C-91) of AND1 La Paz - 27 points and 7 rebounds
8. Michael Flores (192-G-85) of La Salle Tarija - 29 points and 2 assists
9. Tirrell Brown (198-F-93) of Amistad - 24 points and 6 rebounds
10. Dariel Maza) of AND1 La Paz - 26 points and 6 rebounds

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
