Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most important game in the last round took place in Oruro between third ranked Carl A-Z (5-5) and fourth ranked La Salle CBBA (5-4) on Wednesday night. Carl A-Z was crushed by La Salle CBBA at home 98-75. La Salle CBBA outrebounded Carl A-Z 51-39 including a 39-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Uruguayan forward Miguel Barriola (191-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and American forward Joe Efese (198, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who added 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Mauricio Tola (184-92) with 20 points and 6 rebounds. La Salle CBBA moved-up to third place. Carl A-Z at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. La Salle CBBA are looking forward to face league's second-placed CAN Oruro at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Carl A-Z will play against the league's leader Calero in Potosi and is hoping to win this game.
Libobasque top team - Calero (8-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Vikingos (2-8) in Potosi 124-64. The winners were led by American guard Louis Munks (190-90, college: Prairie View A&M) who had that evening a triple-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 10 assists and Mike Liabo supported him with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Calero's coach Giovanny Vargas felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 37 points (!!!) and 4 steals by Deybid Gil did not help to save the game for Vikingos. Calero have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-1 record. Vikingos lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with eight games lost. Calero will play against Carl A-Z (#4) in Oruro in the next round.
