Uruguayan Miguel Barriola (191-PF-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for La Salle CBBA and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 28-year old power forward had a double-double of 32 points and fourteen rebounds, while his team crushed Amistad (#5, 4-6) with 17-point margin 88-71. La Salle CBBA maintains the 3rd position in their group in Bolivian Libobasquet. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. La Salle CBBA will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Barriola had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be La Salle CBBA's top player in his first season with the team. Barriola has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 22.8ppg), rebounds (7th best: 9.4rpg) and averages solid 57.3% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old American forward Tirrell Brown (198-F-93) of Amistad. Brown impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 34 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Amistad lost that game 71-88 to slightly higher-ranked La Salle CBBA (#3, 7-4). Amistad managed to keep the same 5th spot in Group A. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Brown is a newcomer at Amistad and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Scott Sill (206-C/F-92) of top-ranked La Salle Tarija. Sill got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He went also for eighteen rebounds and five assists. He was a key player of La Salle Tarija, leading his team to a 108-78 easy win against #4 ranked Penarol in a game of the week. Many experts and fans count La Salle Tarija as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 11 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings in Group B. Sill has a great season in Bolivia. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.6rpg (2nd best). He also has FGP: 51.3% and 3PT: 43.0%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Michael Flores (192-G-85) of La Salle Tarija - 33 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Joe Efese (198-F-90) of La Salle CBBA - 24 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
6. Louis Munks (190-G-90) of Calero - 27 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Luis Choque (196-F-97) of Pichincha - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Elvis Baez (191-G/F-89) of Vikingos - 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists
9. Oliver Harri (C-97) of La Salle Tarija - 9 points and 19 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
