Pichincha was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 47-35 second half run of CAN Oruro. They also forced 23 Pichincha turnovers. American power forward Howard Crawford (205-88, college: UAB) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Argentinian power forward Agustin Ambrosino (203-90, college: BYU) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Ambrosino is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four CAN Oruro players scored in double figures. At the losing side international forward Luis Choque (196-97) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Carlos Romero (190-84) scored 17 points.

The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back winning next two quarters and won the game by 11 points. La Salle Tarija forced 23 Amistad turnovers. Venezuelan guard Michael Flores (192-85) nailed 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international point guard Martin Ochoa (185-94) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. The game without a history. Calero led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 65.2 percent from the field. American swingman Mike Liabo (198-91, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Interperformances) nailed 29 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Cristhian Camargo (194-92) accounted for 21 points and 5 rebounds. Liabo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Calero's coach Giovanny Vargas used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian power forward Milos Petkovic (204-91) came up with 30 points and 7 rebounds and guard Mauro Calbimonte (-97) added 20 points and 5 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for Penarol in the defeat.
