CAN Oruro - Pichincha 84-73

Pichincha was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 47-35 second half run of CAN Oruro. They also forced 23 Pichincha turnovers. American power forward Howard Crawford (205-88, college: UAB) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Argentinian power forward Agustin Ambrosino (203-90, college: BYU) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Ambrosino is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four CAN Oruro players scored in double figures. At the losing side international forward Luis Choque (196-97) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Carlos Romero (190-84) scored 17 points.

La Salle Tarija - Amistad 92-81

The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back winning next two quarters and won the game by 11 points. La Salle Tarija forced 23 Amistad turnovers. Venezuelan guard Michael Flores (192-85) nailed 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international point guard Martin Ochoa (185-94) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. Four La Salle Tarija players scored in double figures. La Salle Tarija's coach Henry Paruta used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nigerian-American George Williams (198-90, college: Wayland Baptist) came up with 32 points and American forward Tirrell Brown (198-93, college: Ouachita Baptist) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Amistad in the defeat.

Calero - Penarol 104-85

The game without a history. Calero led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 65.2 percent from the field. American swingman Mike Liabo (198-91, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Interperformances) nailed 29 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Cristhian Camargo (194-92) accounted for 21 points and 5 rebounds. Liabo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Calero's coach Giovanny Vargas used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian power forward Milos Petkovic (204-91) came up with 30 points and 7 rebounds and guard Mauro Calbimonte (-97) added 20 points and 5 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for Penarol in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

The hosts trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 50-34 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 25 personal fouls committed by La Salle CBBA helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan guard Reimer Machado (185-89) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds. Venezuelan guard Gregory Curvelo (190-90) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Rubair players scored in double figures. American forward Joe Efese (198-90, college: Cent.Conn.St.) answered with 30 points and 5 rebounds and Uruguayan Miguel Barriola (191-90) added 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for La Salle CBBA.

MILOS PETKOVIC San Martin Corrientes (La Liga) landed 27-year old Serbian power forward Milos Petkovic (204-100kg-91). He played in the summer at Calero in Bolivian Libobasquet.
