Calero opened 2-0 lead over Rubair in the semifinal series. It looked good early as Rubair took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Calero had a 26-21 second period charge getting the lead and Rubair was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 84-106. Calero forced 21 Rubair turnovers. American swingman Mike Liabo (198-91, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Interperformances) scored 26 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Louis Munks (190-90, college: Prairie View A&M, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 28 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Liabo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Venezuelan guard Gregory Curvelo (190-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) and Venezuelan guard Reimer Machado (185-89) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Calero and four Rubair players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

CAN Oruro topped La Salle Tarija to even the series at 1-1. La Salle Tarija cut a 13-point halftime deficit to one at the end of the game. CAN Oruro made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded La Salle Tarija 45-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. Albert Flores (191-91) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. American power forward Howard Crawford (205-88, college: UAB) contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four CAN Oruro players scored in double figures. Venezuelan guard Michael Flores (192-85) replied with 35 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and the former international point guard Martin Ochoa (185-94) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for La Salle Tarija. La Salle Tarija's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Libobasque. The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with change at the leadership position and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. Club Universidad Santa Cruz (Libobasque) landed experienced 34-year old American forward Richard Ford (205-85, college: So.Poly State). The last time (17-18) he played at Magic City Surge (ABA) in the U.S. Ford missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
