Jaldin's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

28-year old point guard Shirley Jaldin (175-PG-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Univ. San Simon and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
She had a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds, while her team outclassed Bolmar (#7, 1-3) with 36-point margin 96-60. Univ. San Simon is placed at 2nd position in Bolivian Libobasquet. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Univ. San Simon will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. Jaldin has many years of experience at Univ. San Simon, through which she has constantly improved. Jaldin has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 9.0rpg), assists (5th best: 3.3apg) and averages solid 54.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Julieta Tapia (172-F-2005) of Potosi Mun.. She is a forward in her first season at Potosi Mun.. In the last game Tapia recorded impressive double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Potosi Mun. was edged by the higher-ranked Aleman (#3, 3-1) 78-74. Potosi Mun. are still at the very bottom. 4 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Tapia is a newcomer at Potosi Mun. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
