Bolivian Libobasquet round 6 best performance: Gabriela Herbas

International Center Gabriela Herbas (181-C-2002) had an amazing evening in the last round for Carl A-Z, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 21-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 19 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team La Salle (#8, 0-4) with 52-point margin 98-46. Carl A-Z is placed at 4th position in Bolivian Libobasquet. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Carl A-Z will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. Herbas turned to be Carl A-Z's top player in her first season with the team. Gabriela Herbas has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (8th best: 16.8ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 12.8rpg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg and 2.8spg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Julieta Tapia (172-F-2005) of Potosi Mun.. Tapia had a very good evening with a double-double of 36 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Potosi Mun. lost that game 66-100 to the higher-ranked Uriona (#1, 4-1). Potosi Mun. are still at the very bottom. 5 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Tapia is a newcomer at Potosi Mun., but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.4ppg (#1). She also registered 11.6 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Mary Candia (173-G-2004) of league's second-best Aleman. Candia scored 27 points and grabbed six rebounds. She was a key player of Aleman, leading her team to a 85-52 easy win against the lower-ranked Bolmar (#7, 1-4). Aleman is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Candia has a very solid season. In 5 games in Bolivia she scored 14.6ppg.
