Libobasquet top team - Aleman (6-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Potosi Mun. (0-7) 91-59. Aleman forced 20 Potosi Mun. turnovers and outrebounded them 54-40 including a 22-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Potosi Mun.'s players. Dayne Cruz (-1996) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Mary Candia (173-2004) contributed with 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Aleman's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Julieta Tapia (172-2005) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds for Potosi Mun.Aleman have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-1 record. Potosi Mun. at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Aleman are looking forward to face league's second-placed Univ.
