Marcela Viscarra's triple-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old swingman Marcela Viscarra (169-F/G-1990) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Univ. San Simon and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
She recorded a triple-double of 13 points adding also 21 rebounds and 10 assists, while her team outclassed Bolmar (#7, 1-5) with 55-point margin 101-46. Univ. San Simon is placed at 2nd position in Bolivian Libobasquet. They are still close to the very top. Univ. San Simon would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. Viscarra has many years of experience at Univ. San Simon, through which she has constantly improved. Viscarra has impressive league stats. She leads league in rebounds with 18.0rpg and is league's best passer with 8.0apg. Viscarra is in league's top in and averages solid 1.6bpg and 3.8spg.

Second best performed player last round was Dayne Cruz (1996) of top-ranked Aleman. She is a in her 6th season at Aleman. In the last game Cruz recorded impressive 27 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course she led Aleman to another comfortable win outscoring Potosi Mun. (#9, 0-7) 91-59. Of course Aleman still keep the league's top spot. Her team lost just one game this season, while they won 6 matches. Cruz is one of the most experienced players at Aleman and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Julieta Tapia (172-F-2005) of Potosi Mun. (#9). Tapia scored 22 points and grabbed nineteen rebounds (!!!). Despite Tapia's great performance Potosi Mun. lost 59-91 to the higher-ranked Aleman (#1, 6-1). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Potosi Mun. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 7 games. Tapia has individually a great season in Bolivia. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.3ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 12.9rpg (2nd best) and assists with 2.3apg (5th best).
