Bolivian Libobasquet round 9 best performance: Marcela Viscarra (by Hoops Agents)

International Swingman Marcela Viscarra (169-F/G-1990) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Univ. San Simon, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds, while her team crushed Aleman (#2, 6-2) with 19-point margin 79-60. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Univ. San Simon to take over top position in the Bolivian Libobasquet. Univ. San Simon have a solid 6-1 record. Viscarra has many years of experience at Univ. San Simon, through which she has constantly improved. Marcela Viscarra has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (7th best: 16.0ppg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg,3.2spg and 52.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Betcy Campos of Uriona. Campos had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 13 rebounds. Of course she led Uriona to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Bolmar (#7, 1-6) 95-74. This victory allowed Uriona to move up to 4th position in the standings. Her team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Campos is a newcomer at Uriona, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Rhea Corchero of Orca (#6). Corchero scored 18 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Corchero's great performance Orca lost 47-69 to the league's current leader Club de Tenis (#3, 5-0). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Orca can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Corchero has a very solid season. In 3 games in Bolivia she scored 10.7ppg.
