   Ourihnos gets crowned as National Champions
Ourihnos - Catanduva 82:80 (OT)
The regular season champs Ourihnos proved their strength in the title decider yesterday. Ourihnos and Catanduva forced Game 5 of the Final best-of-five series leaving all the thrilling moments till the very end. Catanduva wasted their 2-1 lead in the series and were eager to lay claim on the decider. They were at the helm of the encounter early on. Ariadna Felipe (179-G-83) maintained a strong offensive pace for the visitors and they took a 22:19 lead after the opening frame. Natalia Burian (162-G-84) stepped up in the second frame to ensure the winning outcome for Catanduva in the first half. They built a 41:36 buffer at halftime and looked pretty impressive at the moment. However the things changed after the main break. Chuca Ferreira (180-F/G-79) steered a comeback rally for the home side in the third period. Ourihnos outscored their opponents 22:13 and grabbed a lead heading into the fourth term. Catanduva refused to give up and some strong plays from Ariadna Felipe and Karla da Costa (173-G-78) tied the scoreline at 71 at the end of regulation. But a fierce support of the home crowd helped Ourihnos to prevail. They appeared to just better at the end and put on the National championship crown.
Chuca Ferreira knocked down 26 points to pace Ourihnos. Karen Gustavo (177-F-84) added 14 points, while Lisdeivi Pompa (193-C-74) dropped 12 and collected 13 boards for the winners. Ariadna Felipe finished with 22 points for Catanduva. Natalia Burian scored 16 points in defeat.
Lisdeivi Pompa was named the MVP of the tournament.
