    Pinheiros become LDB champions - Sep 30, 2019


    Pinheiros U20 - Franca U20 71:65

    Pinheiros claimed LDB crown. They overcame Franca in the championship game on Sunday. Luca Nolf (185-G-00) came up with 24 points to pace the champions. Jonas Buffat (191-F-00) contributed 16 points and was named the MVP.
    Pinheiros used a 17:12 run in the second term to open a 5-point halftime lead. They extended the margin at 6-point mark at the final break. Pinheiros sank 21 points in the fourth stanza to seal the victory. Guilherme Marsaro (194-G/F-02) answered with 18 points, while Lucas Batista (198-SF-01) had 16 points in the loss.
    Paulistano finished third in the standings as they beat Flamengo 87:61 in the consolation final.
