    Campinas Vera Cruz celebrated LBF title. They overcame Sampaio in the decisive fifth game of the championship series. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 20-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Campinas forced 19 Sampaio turnovers and had a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Argentinian point guard Melisa Gretter (161-93, agency: ProDep Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 7 rebounds. She was named the Finals MVP. The former international guard Babi Generoso (180-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Campinas' coach Carlos Vendramini used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chilean center Ziomara Morrison (194-89) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Tatiane Pacheco (181-90) added 11 points in the effort for Sampaio.
