    LBF Caixa 2020 season is cancelled - Jun 24, 2020


    LBF Caixa 2020 season will not be resumed after all. The Board has decided to cancel 2020 season during the videoconference on Tuesday. LBF had monitored the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic since March. The initial idea was to work out the plan with 2020 season to resume in August. But as the epidemiological situation in Brazil remains complex the league opted for cancellation of the season.

    LBF suspends championship - Mar 18, 2020


    The Board of the Women's Basketball League in regard to coronavirus pandemic has decided to temporarily suspend the National Championship. The decision is effective from March 13th until further notice. LBF did manage to hold first round games before suspension. Campinas, Sampaio and Santo Andre got to the winning start posting victories.
