Benite re-signs at Fuenlabrada

Flexicar Fuenlabrada Madrid confirmed experienced Brazilian international shooting guard Vitor Benite for the upcoming season. He was a team leader last season, with impressive stats of 15.4ppg, 2.7rpg, and 2.2apg in 32 games. Benite helped the team reach the Spanish Primera FEB Cup Semifinals and was named League Player of the Week. In the previous season, he played for Real Betis Sevilla.
Benite has been a member of the Brazilian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Brazilian senior team since 2009 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2009.
Benite also represented Brazil at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 11.5 points per game and had 1 rebound per game.
He is quite an experienced player. Benite has played in Croatia (Cedevita), Spain (UCAM, Burgos, Gran Canaria, and Zunder Palencia), Brazil (Vivo/Franca, Flamengo, Pinheiros, Mandic Basket, and Rio Claro), and Croatia. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Fuenlabrada.
