Luvix/Uniao Corinthians (NBB) signed experienced 37-year-old Argentinian guard Enzo Ruiz (194cm-100kg-1988) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. It is actually his comeback to Santa Cruz do Sul as he has played there before. He played last season at El Talar in the Argentinian La Liga. In 28 La Liga Argentina games, he had 9.0ppg, 2.8rpg, and 1.1apg.
He is a very experienced player. Ruiz has played between Argentina (Bahia, Quilmes, Libertad, Lanus, and Instituto), Mexico (Lenadores), Paraguay (Sacachispas and Olimpia Kings), and Brazil (Paschoalotto/Bauru and Rio Claro).
Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in the Paraguayan LNB Clausura in 2024. He was voted to the Brazilian All-Star Game back in 2019. Ruiz is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at U.Corinthians.
