We bring you last week's top performances from Brazilians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is former international center Clarissa Dos Santos (184-88, agency: ProDep Management, currently plays in EuroCup). She led her French team Flammes to a victory over the leader Artego Bydgoszcz (4-2) crushing them 83-62 in the Eurocup in Thursday night's game. Dos Santos was MVP of the game. She had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 18 rebounds in 35 minutes on the court. It was the game of the round between two top 2 ranked teams in group F. Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes (6-0) is placed first. So far her team won all six games in the 1/8 Finals. It's Dos Santos' first season with the team. Dos Santos has relatively good stats this year: 14.2ppg, 11.8rpg, 1.3apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 56.5%(39-69) and FT: 63.6% in six games she played so far. Former Corinthians/Americana starter played for the Brazilian senior national team two years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to former international center Nadia Colhado (193-89, also represented by ProDep Management, currently plays in EuroCup). She could not help Argon Uni Girona (5-1) in their last game on Thursday. Despite Colhado's good performance the first-placed Argon Uni Girona (5-1) was defeated 65-60 on the road by the lower-ranked Olympiacos (#4) in the group G of Eurocup. She scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. This season Colhado has relatively solid stats: 12.2ppg, 9.5rpg, 2FGP: 45.8% and FT: 63.6%. She played for the Brazilian national team in 2016.

The Brazilian player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international center Erika De Souza (197-82, another player represented by ProDep Management, currently plays in Spain). De Souza contributed to a Perfumerias Avenida's victory against the ninth-ranked Al-Qazeres (7-8) 74-65 in the Spanish LFB on Saturday night. She recorded 8 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 22 minutes. Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca (14-1) is placed first in the LFB. It was her team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. This year De Souza averages: 9.0ppg, 6.9rpg, 2FGP: 56.6%(47-83) and FT: 53.8% in 12 games. Former Sport Recife starter played for the Brazilian national team two years ago.

Forward Raphaella Monteiro (181-95, currently plays in Portugal) helped Uniao Sportiva win their game against the seventh-ranked Academico FC (3-8) 71-54 in the Portuguese Liga Feminina in Sunday night's game. She scored 12 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Clube Uniao Sportiva Ponta Delgada (13-0) is placed first in the Liga Feminina. So far Uniao Sportiva won all thirteen games in the Regular Season. Monteiro has reliable stats this season: 14.8ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.9apg and 1.8spg. She is also Brazilian national team player.

International power forward Leticia Rodrigues (190-95, currently plays in Portugal) is a teammate of previously mentioned Raphaella Monteiro and both played together in the last Portuguese Liga Feminina game. Rodrigues helped Uniao Sportiva win their game against the seventh-ranked Academico FC (3-8) 71-54. She had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 10 rebounds in 22 minutes. Rodrigues' stats this year are: 14.6ppg, 9.0rpg and 1.4spg in eight games. She plays currently for the Brazilian national team.

   #6. Guard Taina Paixao (176-91, currently plays in Portugal) was not able to help Olivais (0-0) in their game against Benfica (9-5) in the Portuguese Liga Feminina. Paixao scored 5 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 35 minutes. her team lost 61-67 in Lisbona to the lower-ranked (#3) Benfica. Paixao has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 15.6ppg, 5.1rpg, 6.0apg and 2.3spg in nine games. Paixao is a former international player as she played for the Brazilian senior team two years ago.

International forward Isabela Ramona Lyra (180-94, currently plays in Spain) was the major contributor in Valencia's victory against the seventh-ranked Picken Claret (7-6) 67-51 in a derby game in the Spanish LF2 (second division) on Saturday night. Ramona Lyra recorded 14 points and had 6 steals in a mere 18 minutes. Valencia BC (9-3) is placed fourth in Group B. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This year Ramona Lyra's overall stats are: 9.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.5apg and 2.5spg in 12 games. She is also Brazilian national team player.

Experienced Naomi Kolodny (171-PG-82, currently plays in Israel) managed to help Maccabi Bnot Ashdod to win against the closely-ranked Elitzur Ramla (4-7) 73-72 in the Israeli D1 on Thursday night. Kolodny scored only 3 points. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Maccabi Bnot Ashdod (12-3) is placed first in the D1. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Kolodny's overall stats this season are: 1.4ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.6apg. She has a dual citizenship: Brazilian and Israeli.

   #2. Tayara Madonna (170-G/F-91, agency: SPORTlab Agency, currently plays in Italy) led Scrivia to a victory against the 13th-ranked Pordenone (3-11) 79-66 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) last Saturday. She recorded 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Castelnuovo Scrivia (9-5) is placed seventh in North group. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Madonna's stats this season are: 14.0ppg, 4.9rpg, 3.6apg and 1.4spg. She is another player who holds two passports: Brazilian and Italian. Despite Madonna's Brazilian nationality, she previously played for the Italian U20 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Brazilian team.

Clube Uniao Sportiva Ponta Delgada (Liga Feminina) re-signed 23-year old Brazilian international power forward Leticia Rodrigues (190-85kg-95). She was a team leader there last season. In 19 Liga Feminina games she averaged impressive 15.3ppg, 7.9rpg and 1.7spg. Rodrigues helped them to win the League title and they also made it to the Cup final. Campinas - Sampaio 66-59 Campinas Vera Cruz celebrated LBF title. They overcame Sampaio in the decisive fifth game of the championship series. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 20-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Campinas forced 19 Sampaio turnovers and had a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sampaio - Campinas 51-62 Campinas outscored Sampaio to even the championship series at 2-2. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 36-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game.
