Waleska Perez (ex Cangrejas) is a newcomer at Blumenau

Blumenau (LBF) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old Venezuelan international shooting guard Waleska Perez (180-94, college: Weatherford JC). She played last summer at Cangrejas in Venezuelan LINABAFE. She helped them to win the LINABAFE title. Great season indeed as she was selected Venezuelan LINABAFE Finals MVP. The last season Perez played at Arxil Pontevedra in Spanish LF2 where in 10 games she recorded 10.6ppg, 7.5rpg, 2.6apg and 3.8spg.
Perez has been also a member of Venezuelan international program for some years. She has regularly played for Venezuelan senior team since 2010 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2009.
Perez represented Venezuela at the Olympic Games Additional Qualifying Round in Nantes eighteen years ago. Her stats at that event were 2 games: Score-3 (16.5ppg), 6.0rpg, Assists-3 (5.5apg).
Perez has played also professionally for other Venezuelan teams like Venezuela for Escuela Pedagogica de Baloncesto Aragua Anzoategui Guaras.
She attended Weatherford College until 2014 and it will be her fourth season as a professional player.
