LEONARDO JACON

Osasco Basquete (Paulista) added to their roster 22-year old small forward Leonardo Jacon (199-96, college: Southeastern CC). He played last season at Minas in the NBB. In 28 games he recorded just 2.9ppg and 1.9rpg. Paulista will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
Jacon's team won Brazilian National League Regular Season in 2017.
He represented Brazil at the South American Championships U17 in Salto (Uruguay) five years ago. Jacon's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 6 games: 5.2ppg, 3.8rpg, FGP: 46.7%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 50.0%.
Jacon has played previously for three other teams: Flamengo, Winner/Limeira and SESI/Faro.
He attended Southeastern Community College until 2016 and it will be his third season as a professional player.

JOAO PAULO BATISTA 37-year old Joao Paulo Batista (205-C/F-81) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Mogi and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 13. He had a double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Corinthians (#10, 4-7) 102-96. Mogi maintains the 4th position in Brazilian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mogi will need more victories to improve their 9-4...   [read more]
