LEANDRO MIRANDA

Cerrado Basquete (Liga Ouro) inked 27-year old Brazilian center Leandro Miranda (205-91). He played most recently at Bierzo Fitness Dentomedic CDP Ponferrada in Spanish EBA league. In 23 games he averaged 7.9ppg and 3.0rpg last season.
The previous (16-17) season Miranda played at Bierzo Fitness Dentomedic CDP Ponferrada (LEB Silver) in Spanish league where in 15 games he had 7.2ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.0apg and 1.6bpg.
He helped his team to make it to the Brazilian National League Final in 2013.
Miranda has played previously professionally also in Brazil (Universo/Salvador and Esporte Clube Guarani R.S.) and Spain (Pozo Soton BVM 2012 Mieres).

27-year old power forward Marciel Santos (200-PF-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Campo Mourao and receives a Interperformances Liga Ouro Player of the Week award for round 6. He had the game-high 15 points adding seven rebounds and four assists for Campo Mourao in his team's victory, helping them to crush Cerrado (4-3) with 19-point margin 86-67. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The game had a very big importance for seventh-ranked UniFacisa as it allowed them to take a leadership position. UniFacisa defeated second-best Londrina on the road 70-54. They outrebounded Londrina 46-34 including 33 on the defensive glass.
