Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Rio de Janeiro. Second ranked host Flamengo (16-4) defeated one of their biggest challengers Vivo/Franca (14-3) 79-74. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Vivo/Franca. Flamengo made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian point guard Franco Balbi (185-89) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 assists and the former international forward Olivinha Rodriguez (203-83) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Flamengo's coach Gustavo Conti used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American David Jackson (195-82, college: Penn St.) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Flamengo have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 16-4 record having just one point less than leader Pinheiros. Defending champion Vivo/Franca keeps the third place with three games lost. Flamengo are looking forward to face Paschoalotto/Bauru (#8) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Vivo/Franca will play against Minas (#6) in Belo Horizonte and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
NBB top team - Pinheiros (16-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat sixth ranked Sao Jose (7-11) 83-67. The winners were led by American guard Cordero Bennett (188-88) who scored that evening 17 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Renato Carbonari supported him with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Even 11 points and 8 rebounds by guard Guilherme Schneider (193-86) did not help to save the game for Sao Jose. Sao Jose's coach Paulo Cezar Martins rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Pinheiros have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-3 record. Sao Jose at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 11 games lost.
