Edu Mariano comes back to Osasco Basquete

Osasco Basquete (CBC League) added to their roster experienced 36-year old small forward Edu de Oliveira (195-83, college: E.Oklahoma St. JC). It is actually his comeback to Osasco as he has played here before. de Oliveira played last summer at Campo Mourao in the CBC League. In 21 games he recorded 9.2ppg, 6.5rpg, 2.7apg and 2.7spg (leader !!!). de Oliveira helped them to make it to the semifinals. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week. He was voted Latinbasket.com All-Liga Ouro Defensive Player of the Year in 2019.
de Oliveira has spent his entire career in Brazil playing for eight other teams: Paulistano, Araraquara, Espirito Santo, Liga Sorocaba, C.A. Linense Basquete, SKY/Basquete, Lins and Universo/Vitoria.
de Oliveira is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Osasco Basquete.
de Oliveira attended Eastern Oklahoma State College until 2004 and it will be his 16th (!!!) season as a professional player.
