Tyrone Curnell joins Bauru

Paschoalotto/Bauru (NBB) agreed terms with 32-year old American power forward Tyrone Curnell (203-88, college: Valdosta State). He played last season at Minas. In 23 NBB games in Brazil he had 10.4ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.6apg.
The most of previous (2019) summer Curnell spent at Barias (Dominican Rep. TBS) in Dominican Rep. league where in 15 games he recorded 13.7ppg, 6.7rpg, 2.1apg and 1.0spg in 2019 season. He helped them to win the league title. Quite impressive season as he was voted Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Rep. TBS Center of the Year, named to 1st Team and League Player of the Week. Curnell also played for Indios (Puerto Rican BSN) in Puerto Rican league. In 14 games he averaged 13.9ppg, 6.2rpg, 2.5apg and 1.4spg in 2019 season.
Curnell is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in five different countries. Curnell tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally also in Argentina (San Lorenzo), Israel (Kiryat Motzkin), Kuwait (Kazma), Portugal (Barreirense) and Brazil (Palmeiras and Mogi).
Curnell attended Valdosta State until 2010 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season as a professional player.
