Blackstar signs Jose Victor Jeronimo

Blackstar Basquete (CBC League) signed 29-year old naturalized Spaniard center Jose Victor Jeronimo (208-91). He played last summer at Cerrado. The last season he played at AB Ancud (Chilean Liga Nacional) in Chilean league where in 15 games he had 6.7ppg and 5.0rpg.
He was a member of Brazilian U19 National Team back in 2009.
Jeronimo has played also professionally in Argentina (Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata), Spain and Brazil (Vivo/Franca, Joinville, Paulistano, Liga Sorocaba and Sao Jose).
Jeronimo played in the final of Brazilian Liga Ouro in 2017.
He could be described: He is extremely long and has impressive wingspan. Can dominate the paint with more than 3 blocks per game. Has excellent timing to block shots and rebound the ball, he's very intense near the basket fighting for every ball. Jumps really high and plays above the rim. Great slasher. He still needs to improve his offensive game and needs of some more weight.
