Vila Nova FC / AEGB signs Diego Lesme, ex Libertad

Diego Lesme

Vila Nova FC / AEGB (CBC League) signed 25-year old Paraguayan ex-international forward Diego Lesme (203cm) for upcoming 2021 season. He just played at Libertad in Paraguayan Metropolitan League. Lesme missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.
He also represented Paraguay at the ODESUR Games in Cochabamba (Bolivia) three years ago. Lesme's team won Gold.
He has played previously professionally in Paraguay (San Jose, Sol de America, Ciudad Nueva and America Pilar) and Brazil (Araraquara and Basquete Curitiba).
Lesme's team made it to the Metropolitan League Clausura Semifinals in 2019.
