Vila Nova FC / AEGB (CBC League) signed 27-year old power forward Pezao Borges (202cm-103kg). He just played at VIPTech Campo Mourao Basquet. In 20 CBC League games he had 3.7ppg and 2.7rpg last season. The previous season he played at UniFacisa (also in NBB). But in 13 games he recorded only 1.2ppg and 1.4rpg.
Borges has played previously professionally in Brazil (Ginastico, Esperia, Macae, Fortaleza and Universo/Vitoria) and Bolivia (CAN Oruro).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Borges won Brazilian Liga Ouro championship title in 2019. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Liga Ouro Sixth Player of the Year and Latinbasket.com Liga Ouro All-Defensive Team in 2019.
