The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Blumenau as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Blumenau defeated one of their biggest challengers Osasco at home 82-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Osasco. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Blumenau looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Deonta Stocks (185-88, college: UWG) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 6 rebounds. point guard Jeferson Froehlich (193-91) contributed with 7 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners. point guard Bruno Felipe Viana (191-93) replied with 14 points for Osasco. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Blumenau (6-2) have an impressive six-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with defeated Osasco. Osasco will play next round against strong Anapolis trying to get back on the winning streak. Blumenau will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Blackstar in Joinville.
Another exciting game for Blumenau (6-2) which played in Rio de Janeiro against Botafogo (5-3). Second ranked Blumenau eked out just a narrow 1-point road win over Botafogo 64-63. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Joao Pedro Demetrio (208-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and Jeferson Froehlich who added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Douglas Correa (204-91) responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Blumenau have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Osasco. Botafogo at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Blumenau will play against Blackstar (#5) in Joinville in the next round. Botafogo will play at home against Vila Nova/AEGB and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Other games in round 4 were not that significant. Vila Nova/AEGB was beaten by Blackstar on the road 76-70. Osasco won against Blackstar on its own court 85-67. Anapolis unfortunately lost to Vila Nova/AEGB in Goiania 52-67. Anapolis recorded a loss to Blumenau at home 67-74. Vila Nova/AEGB was crushed by Osasco on the opponent's court 79-55.



Osasco - Botafogo 77-86

An interesting game for Botafogo (5-3) which played road game in Osasco against their close opponent Osasco (6-2). Third ranked Botafogo managed to get a 9-point victory 86-77. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Osasco. Center Rafael Correa (208-0) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Douglas Correa (204-91) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Botafogo players scored in double figures. Guard Gustavo Scaglia (193-93, college: Arizona W. CC) produced 17 points and forward Igor Avelino (196-93) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side.
