Maringa - Londrina 38-70 The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Londrina (4-6) played at the court of 6th ranked Maringa (1-9). Londrina smashed Maringa 70-38 on Friday. They outrebounded Maringa 43-25 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Tarek Santana (208-1) who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 9 rebounds and Celio Coelho who added 9 points and 7 assists during the contest. Londrina's coach Joao Victor felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Erike Lima (202-99) with 10 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Weverton Holanda (203-94) scored 10 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
