Ponta Grossa - Botafogo 72-73 Blumenau - Joinville 60-67 Joinville outscored Blumenau to force the decider. 24 personal fouls committed by Blumenau helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Lucas Campos (190-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Willian Moreira (190-92) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American guard Deonta Stocks (185-88, college: UWG) replied with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Joao Pedro Demetrio (208-95) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Blumenau. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Corinthians' coach Athos Calderaro used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points and 7 rebounds by Gabriel Vargas (194-98) did not help to save the game for Brusque.
