Blumenau adds Bazilio to their roster

Barbara Bazilio

Basquete Blumenau (LBF) added to their roster 30-year old Brazilian center Barbara Bazilio (185cm-95kg). She moved there from Vitoria SC - Guimaraes in Portuguese Liga Feminina. In 23 games she recorded 10.8ppg, 9.4rpg and 2.8apg last season. Bazilio helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. The previous summer she played at Sesi/Araraquara in Brazilian LBF where in only one game she averaged 10 points and 4 rebounds.
She represented Brazil at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) six years ago. Her stats at that event were 6 games: 4.7ppg, 2.5rpg.
Bazilio has played previously professionally also in Brazil (Santo Andre, Sao Caetano, Corinthians/Americana, APAB/Barretos and Rio Claro) and Portugal (Galitos).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Bazilio was voted Latinbasket.com All-Brazilian LBF 3rd Team in 2019.
