LDB U20 Round 3: Franca keeps a leadership position

Franca defeated Country in Sao Paulo 67-53. Franca had a 35-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for international power forward Marcio Santos (204-2) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 20 rebounds. Guard Reynan Santos (192-4) helped adding 11 points and 5 rebounds. Franca's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was power forward Matheus Bonfim (204-99) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
An interesting game took place in Pato Branco where Pato (0-2) was upset on its own court by Uniao Corinthians (1-2) 78-57. Paulistano (3-0) crushed at home Campo Mourao (0-3) by 35 points 80-45, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night.
