Chris Ware (ex Khouzestan) joins Sao Paulo

Sao Paulo FC (Paulista) agreed terms with 32-year old American center Chris Ware (203cm-125kg-89, college: Indiana Tech). Ware played last season at Khouzestan in Iranian Superleague. In 9 games he had 13.7ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.4apg previous season.
He is quite experienced player. Ware's career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Ware tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Canada (Ottawa), Colombia (Tigrillos), Indonesia (Prawira), Kosovo (Drita), Portugal (Illiabum and Sampaense), Romania (Giurgiu), Brazil (Pinheiros) and PBL (Sauk Valley P.).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Colombian LPB Semifinals in 2020. Ware was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Colombian LPB Honorable Mention in 2020.
He attended Indiana Institute of Technology until 2012 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
On Ware: Big man that has done nothing but improve since coming out of college. Can step out and knock down the 3 pointer, moves well, good footwork and team player.
