The Regular Season in Paulista just started. Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Paschoalotto/Bauru smashed Osasco at home 102-73. Paschoalotto/Bauru shot 61.3 percent from the field. They also forced 19 Osasco turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Osasco's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Alex Garcia (190-80, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. International Gabriel Galvanini (202-98) contributed with 21 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Alexei Patricio (192-97) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds for Osasco. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Osasco will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Paschoalotto/Bauru will try to continue on its current victory against Mogi in Mogi das Cruzes.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Pinheiros in Mogi das Cruzes. Visitors were defeated by Mogi 81-74. Wesley Alves (198-96) stepped up and scored 15 points for the winners and Fulvio de Assis chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Mogi's coach Danilo Padovani allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Lucas Caue (205-98) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Mogi will play against Paschoalotto/Bauru on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Pinheiros will have a break next round.
An interesting game for Vivo/Franca which hosted in Sao Paulo Rio Claro. Vivo/Franca had an easy win 105-82. Lucas Mariano nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Arthur Pecos came up with 23 points and 4 assists for Rio Claro in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

The most impressive performance of 1st round was 10 points, 6 assists and 4 steals by Larry Taylor of Bauru.
