Gustavo Paulino claims Brazilian LDB U20 weekly honour

Talented Gustavo Paulino (180-G-99) had a great game in the last round for ADRM and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 22-year old guard had the game-high 29 points adding six rebounds and three assists for ADRM in his team's victory, helping them to beat Coritiba (#9, 2-8) 75-68. ADRM maintains the 8th position in their group in Brazilian LDB U20. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. ADRM have already lost 7 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Paulino had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be ADRM's top player in his first season with the team. Gustavo Paulino averages this season 14.6ppg and 5.9rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Joao Ramos (201-F-99) of U. Corinthians. Ramos impressed basketball fans with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as U. Corinthians lost that game 58-64 to slightly higher-ranked Campo Mourao (#6, 5-5). U. Corinthians managed to keep the same 7th spot in Group A. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-6 record. Ramos is a newcomer at U. Corinthians and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was Joao Moda (204-C-01) of Sao Jose (#5). Moda scored 26 points. He was a key player of Sao Jose, leading his team to a 98-65 easy win against Pato (#11, 0-10). Sao Jose needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group A. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 4 lost games. Moda has a great season in Brazil. After 10 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.6ppg (6th best). He also has 1.4bpg and FGP: 53.0%.
