Cerrado inks Stefano Pierotti

Cerrado Basquete Brasilia (NBB) agreed terms with 23-year old Argentinian point guard Stefano Pierotti (185cm-86kg) for new 2021-22 season. Pierotti will still stay in Brazil where he played last season at VIPTech Campo Mourao Basquet in CBC League. He helped his team get promotion to NBB, but left the team in Feb.'21. In 20 games he had 14.0ppg, 4.1rpg and 4.9apg.
The previous (2020) summer he played at Blackstar (CBC League).
Pierotti represented Argentina at the FIBA Americas Championships U18 in Valdivia (Chile) five years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 3.8ppg, 2.3apg, 1.0spg.
He has played previously for five other teams: Paschoalotto/Bauru, Paysandu, Sao Jose, Londrina and Pato.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Brazilian Liga Ouro Regular Season in 2019. Pierotti was voted to Latinbasket.com Liga Ouro All-Imports Team in 2019.
