Paysandu inks Alex Oliveira

Paysandu SC (Para State Tournament) agreed terms with experienced 38-year old small forward Alex Oliveira (195cm-102kg). Oliveira played last summer at Liga Sorocabana de Basquete in the Paulista. In 9 games he had 8.6ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.8apg. Para State Tournament will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He has spent his entire career in Brazil playing for eight other teams: Minas, Paschoalotto/Bauru, Paulistano, Sao Caetano, Brasilia, Sao Caetano, Sao Jose and Caxias do Sul.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the National League Semifinals in 2014. Oliveira was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Paulista League 2nd Team back in 2013.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Paysandu.
