Fortaleza signs Maozinha Pereira

Fortaleza B.C. Cearense (NBB) signed 21-year old Brazilian power forward Maozinha Pereira (200cm). Pereira already started the season at KK MZT Skopje Uni Banka in North Macedonian Prva Liga. In 7 games he had 3.9ppg and 2.3rpg.
The most of last season he spent at Crn Dream (also in Prva Liga) where in 23 games he recorded 13.0ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.3spg and 1.0bpg. He also spent pre-season at Pinheiros earlier that year.
Pereira has played previously for four other Brazilian teams: Maringa, Londrina, Country and Pinheiros B team. He was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-North Macedonian League Honorable Mention in 2021.
Pereira won Brazilian LDB U20 League championship title in 2019.
