Sao Jose dos Campos (CBC League) landed experienced 38-year old 195cm small forward Alex Oliveira for new season. It is actually his comeback to Sao Jose as he has played here before. Oliveira played last summer at Paysandu in Brazilian Para State Tournament. He also played for Liga Sorocabana de Basquete where in 9 games he averaged 8.6ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.8apg.
Oliveira has spent his entire career in Brazil playing for eight other teams: Minas, Paschoalotto/Bauru, Paulistano, Sao Caetano, Brasilia, Sao Caetano, Caxias do Sul and Internacional.
Among many awards his team made it to the National League Semifinals in 2014. He was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Paulista League 2nd Team back in 2013.
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Sao Jose.
